Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Richmond, CA

Celebrations Speech Group is looking for a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our school-based team in Richmond, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with students and staff in a supportive environment. What You’ll Do

Provide direct Occupational Therapy services to elementary and middle school students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).
Assist with implementing treatment plans and interventions based on student IEPs.
Help maintain progress records, update reports, and document therapeutic activities.
Collaborate with teachers, Special Education staff, and other professionals to support student needs.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress as requested.
Perform other duties as assigned to ensure student success.

What We’re Looking For

Required: Active California COTA license.
An Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Strong communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.
Ability to build relationships with students, staff, and families.
Organized and detail-oriented, with a passion for working with diverse student populations.
